Synonyms \ yaḥ—which; ayam—this; tava—Your; aṅghri—feet; kamala—lotus; upasanāya—for worship; kālaḥ—time; sthāyī—permanent; tat-anta-gataḥ—until the end of that; katham—how; anyathā—otherwise; syāt—can be; kālena—by time; yena—by which; bhagavān—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; bhajatām—of those who serve; śubhānām—auspicious; kṣemāya—for welfare; nūnam—certainly; anuśikṣayati—instructs; prayatnāt—with care. \ Translation \ The time allotted for worshiping Your lotus feet is permanent until the end. How can it be otherwise? The Supreme Personality of Godhead certainly instructs those who serve Him with devotion in the most careful way for their ultimate welfare.

Synonyms \ śṛṇvatām—of those who hear; sva-kathāḥ—His own topics (pastimes); śuddhaḥ—purified; śṛṇvatām—of those who hear; sva-kathāḥ—His own topics; śuddhaḥ—purified. By hearing His pastimes, one becomes purified.

Such devotional service must be causeless and uninterrupted, to completely satisfy the self.
